Dr. Brett Renquist | DC | MAOM | LAC
Dr. Brett Renquist is an honors graduate from Southern California University of Health Sciences where he earned both his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2009 and his Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2010. He distinguished himself with recognition on the Dean's List and with his service as Vice-President for the student chapter of the American Chiropractic Association from 2007-2008.
Prior to graduation, Dr. Brett gained more than 2 years of Chiropractic and Acupuncture internship experience under a large variety of physicians including MD's from China and Taiwan, certified sports medicine chiropractors, Internal Medicine specialists, and Ayurvedic Medicine practitioners. He has been working in this clinic since 2010. The primary areas of focus with his continuing education are functional medicine, sports nutrition, and functional neurology.
Dr. Brett is a native of Oregon, and he attended the University of Portland where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and a minor in Political Science. He takes pleasure in all kinds of outdoor activities with an emphasis on cycling, mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, and snowboarding.
Dr. John Renquist | DC
Dr. John Renquist received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota followed by his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1977. Earlier visits to the Pacific Northwest convinced him to move to Salem where he opened the Renquist Chiropractic Clinic in 1979. He has spent the four decades serving the Salem community.
Dr. Renquist's family practice has given him the privelige of now treating the children and grandchildren of his original patients. In addition to his family practice, Dr. Renquist has extensive experience in treating the types of traumatic spinal injuries seen in work-related and automobile accidents.
